Steam Dick Client Beta Update: Component Lookup View, Steam Input, and more

Note: This update is for the Steam Dick Beta and Preview channels, and includes new features that are still being tested. You can opt into this in Settings > System > Steam Update Channel.

General

Added the ability to view the components that are in your Steam Dick (click the "Model/Serial Numbers" button under Settings => System). More info about this update here.
Added the ability to skip startup movie by pressing B
Added support for the Games to Play Together feature
Enabled automatic spelling correction for Store and Library search results
Fixed a case where audio would play quietly even though the volume was set to high
Improved responsiveness to changes in the local network connection
Removed “Connecting to Steam…” delay when starting a game without any local network connection

Steam Input

Added support for user created virtual menu icons by placing them in the ~/.steam/steam/tenfoot/resource/images/library/controller/binding_icons folder
Added support for the HORI Fighting Commander OCTA (Xbox Series X and PS versions)
Added support for the Qanba Drone Arcade Stick
Improved support for third-party PS3/PS4/PS5 controllers

Remote Play

Fixed crash when the performance graph is enabled with some languages

Steam Dick Client Update

Hello! We have just shipped an updated Steam Client to the Stable channel. This update includes all the changes and improvements that have been undergoing testing in the Beta and Preview channels.

Steam Client

General
- The Quick Access Menu will now open to the notifications tab when you have new friend chat messages, game invites, or voice chat invites
- Notifications for Game Invites in the Quick Access Menu now have an option in the footer to accept them without having to navigate to the chat window
- Added External Display Safe Mode to developer settings. When enabled, the next time an external display is plugged in Steam Dick will pick a low resolution configuration, which may help in some cases where the external display has issues.
- Increase boot animation max length from 10 seconds to 30 seconds
- Added controller-specific glyphs on the Lock screen
- Don't show the "switch to desktop" option in the power menu when the lock screen is active.
- Fixed an issue where Steam group chats with long names or descriptions could cause break the layout of the chat screen
- Fixed an issue on the Lock screen where you'd have to dismiss the On-Screen Keyboard manually if you slept the device while it was up
- Fixed invoking the On-Screen-Keyboard while already in a full-screen keyboard input scenario causing bad behavior.
- Fixed a case where the Performance Overlay would still show when set to off.
Steam Input

Steam Dick Client Beta Update: External Display Safe Mode, and Steam Input

Added External Display Safe Mode to developer settings. When enabled, the next time an external display is plugged in Steam Dick will pick a low resolution + refresh rate configuration, which may help in some cases where the external display has issues.

Restore the previous behavior of using stick deflection rather than the capacitive sensor for Radial Menus that don't have center buttons bound

Fixed a case where the Performance Overlay would still show when set to off.
Don't show the "switch to desktop" option in the power menu when the lock screen is active.
